4. Agree to the workplace and operation authority of laser equipment application. The operation site of laser equipment can only be used after the laser safety officer has fully checked and agreed. The operator of the laser equipment is allowed to operate the machine only after the laser safety officer is satisfied that the laser damage can be satisfied. 5. Issue laser operation certificate. The laser operator shall hold the operation qualification certificate. The operator must have received laser safety training and eye inspection before the laser safety officer issues the operation certificate.
6. Agree to use protective equipment. In places where personal protective equipment is required, such articles (such as protective gloves, protective clothing and protective glasses) can only be used with the consent of the laser safety officer. In practice, this kind of protective equipment is determined by the laser safety officer.
7. Ensure warning signs are set. The laser safety officer must ensure that eye-catching warning systems or warning signs are set up and installed in appropriate places according to the requirements of "laser safety code".
8. Keep the records of laser operators. The laser safety officer shall keep the records of laser operators who use more than 2 types of lasers, including medical records, records of suspicious laser incidents, etc.
9. Keep the records of laser operators. The laser safety officer shall keep the list and necessary records of all laser equipment and control system, including the annual list of all lasers in each laser room and the transfer, acceptance and treatment of any registered lasers.
10. Inspect the laser equipment area. The laser safety officer has the right to inspect all areas with laser equipment and fulfill the responsibilities of laser safety officer.
11. Handle suspicious or practical laser incidents. After hearing the suspicious or practical laser incident, the laser safety officer must immediately investigate and take necessary measures to allow the doctor to consult the relevant information.
12. In order to assist the laser safety officer, an assistant laser safety officer can be selected to guide and train the assistant personnel to understand the laser safety skills. When the laser safety officer is not present, he can supervise the safety of laser processing industry.
