Installation instructions for CO2 laser (laser tube):
1. connect the electrode wire well first, and the (+, -) pole shall not be connected wrong.
2. the installation method of cooling water pipe is to feed water from high pressure, and the negative side water outlet meets the principle of low inlet and high output, and the interface shall not leak. Before use, sufficient water must be stored in the water storage tank. After water is drained, there must be no bubbles in the water-cooled pipe before use (it must be inspected before each use). If the laser tube is installed vertically, please note that there is no bubble at the top of the laser tube, and the operation when there is bubble will cause thermal shock, which will cause damage to the laser tube.
3. in order to maintain the good performance of the laser tube, please use a temperature controlled chiller between 20-25 ° C. if the instability of cooling water will cause the output power of the laser tube to be unstable.
4. when installing the laser tube, leave enough space between the high-pressure end of the laser tube and any other metal surface. If the gap is too small, the high pressure used to trigger the laser tube will cause fire with the metal surface, which will cause the damage of the laser tube and even the other main electronic parts of the laser machine.
5. it is recommended that the user add automatic detection device (water protection or water signal detection of water cooler) in the cooling water circulation system of laser tube to prevent the laser tube from overheating due to water loss. Please consult the laser machine supplier for details.
Common problems and solutions in CO2 laser operation:
Weak power
1. whether there are scratches and dirt on the surface of the output mirror of the laser tube and the proper placement of the support points;
2. output current, power supply voltage, cooling water temperature, cleanliness and flow rate;
3. the surface cleanliness of focusing mirror and reflector, whether the heating and light path offset are found during operation.
High pressure fire
1. check whether there are sundries or contact with metal objects around the high-pressure joint.
2. the indoor environment is too humid to cause electric conduction. In summer, pay attention to condensate when using the chiller;
3. whether there is short line and damage in the high voltage connection device of laser power supply.
Laser burst, laser tube outlet light drool cold sleeve falling off
1. the water temperature is controlled in the range of 15 ℃ -25 ℃, the cooling water in cold areas cannot be frozen, and after the laser is closed, the cooling water shall not be stored in the laser at least 0 ℃;
2. the light must be under the control of water protection; (test whether the laser tube will glow or not with the water on-off);
3. whether the cooling water pipe has pressure folding phenomenon, which leads to the water not circulating or the water flow is insufficient.
4. whether there is bubble in the laser tube;
5. whether the water pressure flow is normal, whether the water flow direction is low and high, and whether the water protection device is faulty.
6. if the above items are checked normally, it can be judged whether there is any problem with the quality of laser tube.
